Grape variety Sultanie
Sultanie is a middle white seedless grape variety originating from Central Asia and the Middle East. Widespread in Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Turkey, Greece, USA, Australia, Chile and China. It is also present in Bulgaria, especially in the southern warmer areas.
It is also known under the names: White wholesale seedless, White kishmish, Ak kishmish Ar kishmish, Yellow kishmish, siydles Thompson (USA).
The variety is resistant to mildew and powdery mildew. Grapes are relatively resistant to gray mold. The vines are sensitive to low temperatures and drought. Matures in the second half of
Bunches medium, cylindrical-conical, winged, medium density and mass of about 180-230 gr. The grains are small, round, yellow-green or amber-yellow. The skin is thin, transparent. The texture is meaty, with a pleasant taste.
Typical dessert variety. Grapes are mainly used for the production of raisins, for fresh consumption and for production of jams.
